Where do I go to purchase Charms? Charms can currently only be purchased directly from the artist. If you see a piece online and would like to purchase it, please Contact Me.
Do you teach classes? Yes, I do. I teach them out of my home studio a few times a month. You can view class listings here.
How do I care for Sterling Silver? Caring for your beads and silver is important. Please clean sterling silver with appropriate materials, such as a cleaning cloth. If your jewelry is a combination of beads and sterling silver, do not place into a sonic jewelry cleaner - it will damage the beads. For more information please see Tips & Trends.
Do you take custom orders? Requests for custom designs can be placed through the Custom page. I work hard to find beads that are of interest to you and work them into a wearable design. An series of preliminary design images will be emailed to you, until we agree upon a supreme design.
If you place a custom order, beads will only be ordered after payment has arrived. Orders generally arrive within 3-5 business days, allow 1 week for assembly of your design order, and another 3-5 business days until it will arrive in your hands.
What about wedding party designs? Charms will work with your wedding colors to create pieces for you as well as designs for your bridesmaids. A great gift, and something you and your bridesmaids are sure to wear after the wedding. I also will match fabric for other special occasions.
Do you gift wrap? Yes, I now offer gift wrapping options, with a note included. You can find these options along with gift cards here.
My necklace broke, will you fix it? I will repair any damaged or broken necklace, bracelet or earrings. Please visit the Repairs & Redesign page to place a request. You will be contacted shortly with details, shipping information, and expected date of return.
I am tired of my old beaded bracelet, but I like the beads. Will you use these old beads in a new design? Charms will gladly redesign any tired beaded item. I believe in reusing loved items and turning them into something new and current. Please look at the Repairs & Redesign page to place a request. You will be contacted shortly with further details.
What is lampwork? Definitions to all bead types can be found on the Tips & Trends page.
Can I choose my own charm? The Charms Inspiration Collection is designed around the specific charm attatched to it. If however you are dissatisfied with the current sterling silver charm, you may request a different charm. There is an additional fee of $12, plus the cost difference between the charms.
Is your work guaranteed? I guarantee the craftsmanship of my designs. I also guarentee I will repair any of my jewelry pieces against breakage. If your piece is broken, please return it for repairs. However we are not responsible for damage done to the beads by daily wear and tear. If you find glass beads are chipped you may request a replacement and restringing at a repair fee. Some beads are irreplaceable as craftsmen, manufacturers, and distributers no longer create or carry particular beads. I will offer suggestions for replacement beads at the approval of the client.
Dontations A word about donations. If you find a peice of jewelry at a yard sale, while cleaning, or at antique sales and have no idea what to do with it, I will take the beaded item off your hands! Send the item to me, I'll clean it and inspect the beads, determine a value and send you the estimate. If you would like to aquire a credit for the item towards a purchase you may, however there will not be negotiations on the value of the peice. If the peice is truely a valuable item...DO NOT SEND IT! Please find another worthy cause that can enjoy it.
